What made you decide to join Mudville?
I really liked how the program was structured and was built to win.

What can you say about the Mudville coaching staff?
The coaches want to be there and not only want to help but also possess the knowledge to improve each player.

Whatís your first memory of Mudville?
Playing against the younger teams from the time I was 11 or 12

What do you love most about the sport of baseball?
Anybody can be great at a certain moment, but the work you put into the game will dictate how much success youíll have in your career.

If you werenít playing baseball, what sport(s) would you be playing?

What kinds of things do you like to do away from the field?
I like to write, especially poetry and short stories.

When you attend college, what do you intend to major in and why?
I have not decided yet, but maybe law or economics.

If baseball doesnít work out, what do you aspire to do after college?
I would like to work for the government, specifically an ambassador/diplomat for the US in another country.

Are you involved in the community? If so, what have you done?
I helped run a sock drive for Seattle homeless throughout middle school.

Do you have any pre-game superstitions? If so, what are they?
Never step on the foul line before a game and make sure my uniform is laid out on the floor the night before.

What number have you worn in high school? Does it have any significance to you?
I wore 3 this year, but it doesnít have any significance. For club baseball I have worn 40 because no famous player has worn that yet.

If you could meet any three people, dead or alive, who would they be?
Jesus Christ, Babe Ruth, Tupac Shakur

If you could visit one country youíve never been to, what would that be and why?
Cuba, I would love to see what it is like down there and watch and play some baseball too.

Tim Salmon

Seattle Mariners
