Watson Spins 2-hitter as Mudville Pounds Narrows Baseball 9-1!

Bellevue, WA - Mudville Pinnacle (32-19, 3-1-1) scored four runs in the sixth on a bases loaded walk, a walk by Tommie Bahadoor, a hit by pitch to Justin Kemp, and an RBI single by Christian Finkelson. Will Hall racked up two RBIs on two hits for Pinnacle. He singled in the fourth and sixth innings. Nolan Watson shut down Narrows Baseball while he was on the mound. Narrows Baseball managed just 2 hits off of the Mudville pitcher, who allowed no earned runs, walked two and struck out six during his six innings shortened game.

The game was never in doubt after the first, as Mudville scored one run on an RBI double by DH John Pomeroy. Pomeroy laced a second double in the sixth. Mudville added three more runs in the bottom of the fourth. A sacrifice fly by 3B David Becker scoring OF Christopher Rogers to get Pinnacle on the board in the inning. That was followed up by Hall's single, scoring Finkelson and 2B Zack Hill.  Hill had singles in the 2nd, 4th and 6th innings. Five other Muddies each had two hits.  Mudville reached base safely 22 times during the game.  As a point of interest, Narrows Baseball had four outfield assists in the game.
