Mudville Takes 3-Game Series from Seattle Bombers

Seattle, WA - Solid pitching and timely hitting pushed Mudville (22-16) to take 2 of 3 WSBL games from the Seattle Bombers Friday and Saturday at Steve Cox Memorial Field and Lower Woodland Park.

Mudville took the first two games, 11-3 at Steve Cox Memorial and 5-2 Lower Woodland Park on Saturday morning.  Pinnacle dropped the finale 3-1 at Lower Woodland.  

Andrew Villeneuve and Cam Wilson combined for the win on Friday night.  Troy Colyer pitched a complete game, 73 pitch 3-hitter  for the 5-2 victory.  Adam Marin and Mason Haugen pitched well but 3 unearned runs turned the game around in the bottom of the fourth.  All five pitchers allowed 8 runs in 21 innings of work.
