Palouse Summer Series Day 3: Mudville Finishes 3-2; Flying to Nebraska for CABA Woodbat World Series

Pullman, WA - Mudville Pinnacle (14-6, 3-2) finished the 2010 Palouse Summer Series on an upswing defeating a WSBL League member, the Eastlake Tiger 10-2.  The tournament counts as a league win as well per WSBL rules.

 

Pinnacle pitching and hitting caught fire in preparation for next week's CABA Woodbat World Series in Lincoln, Nebraska.  Nat Townsend pitched 5 shutout innings; Sean Pittman pitched the final 2, allowing 2 runs.

 

Jordan Richartz and Shane Smith each went 2 for 3 with 2 doubles.  Richartz drove in 2 RBI as well. Evan Thompson tripled while contributing a 2 for 3 day!
