Connie Mack Regional Update: Mudville Pinnacle Wins 6-3 Thriller in 8-Inning Shoot-out

Hayward, CA - Mudville (53-20, 2-1) scored three times in the top of the 8th inning to beat Sonoma County 6-3 at the Connie Mack Regionals at Chabot College. James King and Joey Pulitano (1-0) pitched eight innings of 6-hit ball. Peter Summerville and Troy Colyer drove in 4 RBI including the 3 go ahead runs in the final frame.

Pinnacle has played extra innings in every game in this tournament. Mudville is now one of four teams remaining in the tournament which leads to the Connie Mack World Series in Farmington, NM on August 9th thru the 15th. The Nine play the California Rockies of Los Angeles, CA tomorrow at 12:00 PM in a loser out game.
