Connie Mack State Championships Day #4 - Mudville Remains Undefeated; Shutouts Reality 4-0

Seattle, WA - Mudville Pinnacle (46-17, 4-0) defeated Tacoma's Reality Sports 4-0 in the winners bracket of the Connie Mack State Championships held at Island Crest Park. RHP Seafth Howe allowed 4 hits, struck out 8 hitters, pitching yet another Mudville complete game shutout in this tournament.  SS Jeff Melby, OF Daniel Schmidt, 1B Dave Courtney and OF Matt Boyd each drove in a run against Reality pitching. 

Pinnacle has won four games in this week's tournament with four complete game pitching performances by Cam Wilson, James King, Matt Boyd and Howe.  The last three games have been shutouts, with Mudville pitching allowing only 1 run. 

Mudville takes on the Marysville Outlaws tomorrow at 9:00 AM, Bannerwood Sports Park in Bellevue.  In the AABC playoff format, the final 3 remaining competitors, Marysville, Reality and JBA Bruins each have a loss in the state championship.  Mudville needs to win two more games to capture their second state AABC championship in 3 years.
