Mudville Pinnacle Advances to Skagit River Mid-Summer Classic Playoffs

Mudville Sweeps Doubleheader to Advance to Playoffs

Sedro Woolley, WA - Mudville Pinnacle (28-11, 2-1) advanced to the semi-finals of the Skagit River Mid-Summer Classic today by sweeping a doubleheader, 2-0 over Olympic Legion and a 14-4 victory over Ellensburg Legion at Sedro Woolley High School's Cub Field.

Mudville will either be the Pod A #1 or #2 seed depending on the outcome of tonight's Burlington Sox - Olympic Legion matchup. A Burlington win gives Mudville the #2 seed; an Olympic victory the #1 seed. Burlington Sox defeated Pinnacle last night 6-4. The semi-final game will be held at Sunday 12:15 PM at either Burlington-Edison or Sedro Woolley HS depending on the seeding. The championship game is slated for 3:00 PM at Sedro Woolley.
