11 Current and Former Mudville Players Recognized as State's 2009 Best; 28 All-League Honors

Mercer Island, WA - The Washington State Baseball Coaches Association (WSBCA) announced its all-state team selections earlier this month. Among the 3A-4A All-State Teams selections were 11 current and former players including current members Jeff Melby, Troy Colyer, Brad Binder and Matt Boyd.

Other All-State and former Mudville 9 members include Will Minice, Dave Madsen, Madison Pool, John Burnham, Colin Herring and Spencer Rogers.

Boyd was named as the 2009 WSBCA Washington State Co-MVP/Player of the Year and on the American Baseball Coaches Associations Rawlings All-Region 7 Team.

In all 28 current and former KingCo, Metro and WesCo players were named all-league. Below is a listing of the 2009 honors for our Mudville Alumni.
