Mudville Veteran Pitcher Howe Wins 3rd Game of Season Courtesy: Mudville Sports Information |

- Seafth Howe pitched a complete game 2-0 shutout of the Spokane Dodgers in the semi-final game of the Cardinal Classic at Bannerwood Sports Park. Howe (3-0) allowed only two hits, striking out 2, defeating the #1 seed of the Gold Division which included powerhouses and #2 seed Washington Brewers, Seattle Shockers and Baden Sports. Catcher AJ Simpson and 2B Troy Colyer knocked in the only two runs of the game. Colyer went 3 for 4 and Outfielder Troy Perry 2 for 3 in the game.Mudville Pinnacle eventually lost in the championship game 3-0 to the Brewers. Pitcher James King (1-1) pitched the complete game only allowing five hits as the Mudville offense was held in check throughout the game by Brewers pitcher and Eastside Catholic HS player Ryan Gillespie. Mudville is now 21-6, 14-2 in league play this year, with a 1st and 2nd place finish in two tournaments, with a 4-2 finish this tournament.
