Mudville Downs Honda Baseball & NW Warriors in Back-to-Back Days

Bellevue, WA - Mudville Pinnacle (16-4, 10-2) exploded for 4 runs in the 4th inning and 3 runs in the 5th to pull away from Honda Baseball at Bannerwood Sports Park.  Newport HS Freshman Eric Jensen won his 1st game of the year allowing 4 runs over 4.1 innings.   

Mudville veteran Cam Wilson provided stellar relief to shutdown the Hondamen for the remainder of the game.  Fellow Newport High Brad Binder went a perfect 3 for 3 and a walk.

Kent, WA - Pinnacle improved to 11-2 in WSBL play with a 10-5 win against the NW Warriors at Kentlake HS.  James King returned from Whitworth University to pitch 4 solid innings, giving up only 2 runs.  Andrew Villeneuve, Robert Ward and Patrick Vandergrift each pitched an inning of relief to support the victory. 

Catcher Peter Summerville and 2B Troy Colyer each tallied a 3 for 3 day with a walk and HBP.  Both men wrapped RBI doubles.  The margin of victory was sequestered with Mudville hitting into 4 double plays.
