The 2012 season is the 13th anniversary of the Mudville Youth Baseball Club (MYBC). "The Club of Champions" is a 501-C (3) not-for-profit organization based in Seattle, WA, founded in 1999. MYBC teaches and develops life skills for children through the games of baseball and softball.
Mudville is a nationally recognized, multi-team, select level baseball club located in the Seattle Metropolitan area. A non-profit youth baseball organization, Mudville is affiliated with many of the largest youth baseball organizations in America including AABC, AAU, Babe Ruth, CABA, Triple Crown and USSSA.
A teaching organization at all age levels, Mudville is known for their coach development and required continuing education. Mudville's coaches are registered members of the Washington State Coaches Association (WSCA)
and the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA). All Mudville coaches are required to attend the annual regional coaching clinics, and at least two Mudville coaches attend the annual ABCA National Convention held at various locations around the nation. Because our club is smaller in membership than most facility-based clubs, our coaches are more proactive to a smaller base of players. They can dedicate more time to each player's development and career aspirations.
The club’s teams have all competed from coast to coast at many national invitational youth baseball events including the USA Baseball 16U Championships (formally the USA Junior Olympics), world series and regional play at AABC, AAU, Babe Ruth, CABA, Triple Crown Series, USSSA, AYB Hall of Fame Invitational at Cooperstown Dreams Park and the Hawaiian World Series. Many of Mudville’s players have competed at international events in Australia, the Dominican Republic and Canada.
